Programs for Citizens and Non-profit Organizations

To successfully fight climate change we must improve practices in various fields. The Québec government has launched many programs to help citizens and non-profit organizations make the transition to a lower-carbon world.

Energy Efficiency

  • Réno-Climat program– Heating with Green Power
Do you have a heating system or water heater in your home that uses oil? Are you thinking of replacing it with a more efficient system that pollutes less?

The Heating with Green Power program provides financial assistance to those seeking to replace fossil-fueled systems with systems that use electricity or other renewable sources of energy.

Other energy efficiency programs are offered by Ministère de l’Énergie et des Ressources naturelles and its partners. These programs offer many different types of financial assistance.

  • Drive Electric program
If you like the idea of driving an electric vehicle, the Drive Electric program offers purchase or lease rebates for individuals, businesses, non-profit organizations, and Québec municipalities that want to acquire an all-electric, plug-in hybrid, hybrid, or low-speed electric vehicle.
